Our Story: From a Small Café in Looe to Your Doorstep
Our online wine store has its roots in our cosy little café in Looe, Cornwall. When the Covid-19 pandemic began to take hold in March 2020, we were forced to close our doors. Rather than sit idle, we decided to put our connections in the hospitality industry to good use. With people unable to visit shops and supermarket delivery slots booked up for weeks, we realised we could help by sourcing and delivering restaurant-quality wine directly to the doors of our friends and loyal café customers.
As word spread about our speedy service and carefully curated wine selection, demand quickly grew. Before we knew it, we were busier than ever, working around the clock to keep up with orders and ensure that the wine racks of the South West stayed well-stocked—all while keeping our 8-month-old daughter Florence entertained!
Our ethos remains unchanged: we continue to expand our wine selection, offering excellent restaurant-quality wines to suit all tastes and budgets, delivered straight to your door.
